National ParkRx Census

Calling all ParkRx leaders—we want to hear from you!

Over the past five years, we have seen rapid growth in the number and types of Park Prescription (ParkRx) models. We have heard from both new and established practitioners that there is a need to track the growth of these programs nationwide, to examine various approaches, and to identify common challenges and signs of success. That information can then be used to create tools and resources to lift all boats.

As a first step, the Institute at the Golden Gate is conducting a nationwide ParkRx census.

If you work with health or social service providers to get people into nature to improve their health and well-being, we want to hear from you. Even if you haven’t traditionally thought of your work as a “ParkRx” program, we encourage you to participate in the census. Our goal is to understand the entire ecosystem of programs and generate new knowledge.

As an added incentive, all census participants will be entered to win one of five amazon.com gift cards if they complete it by the Friday, July 20th deadline! Capturing the full spectrum of programs is critical and we need your help, so please share this with your networks.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact Oksana Shcherba at (oshcherba@parksconservancy.org).
