Description:
Within this program, health care providers prescribe time in nature for various health conditions. Cape Cod Healthcare has furnished local physicians with “park prescription” pads and letters detailing the program with the expectation that they will recommend to their patients, as medically appropriate, walking at Cape Cod National Seashore under the auspices of the Healthy Parks, Healthy People curriculum and medical supervision.
